is 3.0 a good grade point average?

Answer this for me.
I want to go to ucla or syracuse but i live in atlanta.
I wanna do a walk on program and play a little bit of college Football.
My parents said i need to get out of this piece of crap and get somewhere better.
I have a scholarship for Clark University but i wanna go to Syracuse or either Ucla
I have a 2200 score out of 2400 on the SAT.
Can i get to either syracuse or ucla?
Oh and one more request please do not say go to this college or that one i just wanna get to one of those 2 colleges

If you attained such a high score on the SAT, you would know whether or not a 3.00 is a good GPA!!!
