Virginia Tech vs North Carolina: College Football Odds – Week 11
It will be an ACC battle on Saturday at 3:30pm EST when the #20 Virginia Tech Hokies (7-2) travel to face the North Carolina Tar Heels (6-3) from Kenan Stadium. Online sportsbooks have listed Virginia Tech -3.5 betting favorites on the road in week 11 college football odds vs North Carolina while the over/under total is set at 52 for the game that can be seen on ABC television. While the Hokies (5-0) will look to stay undefeated in ACC conference play, the Tar Heels (3-2) will also look to keep a winning record in conference action with a win at home on Saturday.
Virginia Tech had a rough start to the season losing their first two games vs Boise State 30-33 and James Madison before finding their footing and winning the next seven games heading into week 11 as favorites in college football odds. The Hokies had their hands full with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets last week but still got the “W” with a 28-21 win on the road. Vegas college football odds had listed Virginia Tech as 9.5-point favorites and just missed covering the spread to fall to 6-2 ATS for the season. The Hokies will be looking to find a seat in the ACC championship game but will need a win vs North Carolina and then Miami next week.
North Carolina has had as good of a season as one could expect. The Tar Heels began the season losing their first two games to LSU and Georgia Tech on the road with a score of 24-30. UNC quickly answered back with four straight wins before falling to Miami FL 10-33. North Carolina quickly regrouped and have won their last two match-up vs William & Mary 21-17 and on the road vs FSU 37-35 last week. The Tar Heels were able to win outright vs Florida State and easily covered the 10.5-point spread as underdogs in college football odds to go 6-2 ATS for the season.
